Singing

Why do I love singing? Simply because It's fun. I have been singing since I was a little kid and have been in choir since 2nd grade. I love to sing, it gives you this indescribable feeling of joy and freedom. Singing makes the person singing happy and can inspire those listening. I will always sing, for that reason.

Travel

Why is travel so scary to some and absolutely terrifying to others. This time tomorrow I will be on a plane headed for New York. I'm so excited to go, and I love to travel. I've flown before and my experience was safe and fun. My friend will be on the same plane as my, going to the same place, but will be having a completely different experience. I suppose the reason she is so scared to fly is lack of experience. She has never been on a plane and is genuinely afraid. After all, people are "afraid of what they don't understand." She may also be afraid because of stories she's heard about plane crashes and things she has seen. Although plane crashes are not something that happens very often, but the few stories we hear are rather frightening. The fear she has stems from her not knowing about flight. I on the other hand have experienced it.

ZZzzz.... I don't wanna get up yet

Daylight savings time. What a pain. Well, I guess that's just because it's spring forward time. Loosing an hour is not fun. It's difficult to get up in the morning as it is. The thought of getting up an hour early is almost unbearable! I know that the time has to change, but our bodies don't appreciate the change in our sleeping schedule. In the fall it's so much easier, gaining an hour is a pleasant treat. Why is it that springing forward is so tough? Springing forward means loosing an hour of sleep, loosing an hour of homework time, loosing an hour of hang out time, and, well, loosing an hour of freedom. In a few weeks we will all be used to the time change, but for now it's a hard adjustment to make.
